About Michael Davies

It can be safely said that I am not your regular marriage celebrant! My background is hardly conventional. For many years I was an internationally-mobile business executive and consultant in the information technology industry. My by-line could well have been "Have laptop, will travel." I lived and worked in Europe, the UK, Canada, the USA and in many locations around South East Asia, including Hong Kong, Viet Nam, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia. I have been an IT Director and Chief Information Officer with my clients including large corporations, international and Australian government departments and many others.

But in recent years I abandoned that entire life and became a marriage celebrant and also a writer with a growing reputation, and my books are in many bookshops and libraries in the region. You can look at my portfolio of work by clicking here.

The skills that once I used to design and deliver executive seminars and workshops, I will now direct to designing and conducting a personalised and empathic wedding for you. I bring my creative writer's talents to helping you design your ceremony and my international public speaking skills will now go to delivering a professional ceremony to help you start your new lives together.

Celebrant Services

I will work with you to design your ceremony or coordinate with a wedding planner if that is your choice. I will conduct it in any venue you choose, from your own home, your garden, a winery estate, on the beach or any place that suits your fancy at any level of formality or informality that you select, from top hat and tails to board shorts and thongs.

I will conduct weddings anywhere on the mid-north Coast of NSW between Taree and Coffs Harbour and elsewhere by arrangement.
